This week I celebrated a big milestone. It has been one whole year since I have had a cigarette. This led to a long walk to the gas station in search of a cookie to snack on. I felt like a cookie was earned for accomplishing the goal of not smoking.

As far as fitness goes. I really struggled this week. I had so many things pulling my attention this week. I was actually concerned that I would not hit my step goal for Pokemon Go this week. I actually finally reached the goal of 50km tonight.
Next week I will be starting up the couch to 5k program again, so that should help provide some needed structure to my workouts. I did sign up for a 5k next year that takes place during Fiesta. I want to be able to run a 5k straight, no walking, so I am starting now.
Diet wise I failed this week. I was all over the place and constantly snacking on crap and drank way too many sodas. Next week should calm down, but I also went to the grocery store and got some healthier food to have for lunch and dinner.
On to next week and hitting more goals. This really isn’t related to fitness, but I just wanted to brag. For the second year in a row, I was asked to be Santa for Mystery Dog Rescue. This year I was able to bring Boots and my friend Ariel brought her Cat (Boot’s Brother, Calvin). Both boys were adorable in their photos and very well behaved. Their facial expressions are hilarious.
On to the next week.
