This is a tradition I stole from my parents tree, but I dig it and so I do it for my tree. The ornaments on the tree aren’t just baubles, they tell a story of our family.
Every place we have visited.
Every major life moment, memorialized with an ornament.
While decorating the tree, often times one of my parents would say “This ornament came from…” and it is something I have tried to incorporate into my tree.
Which has been tough to decorate because…cat.
I have picked up a number of new ornaments this year from places I had never been to before. New Orleans and Biloxi to be specific, and they will go great on my tree.
I was happy both cities had an ornament I could find, because in the past it has been something that I could easily find that says the city and could work as an ornament.
That means there are some weird keychains on my tree.
Tonight while at the
Since I had an interesting phone call earlier today, I decided to make an ornament to celebrate. A transition is occurring, and this will be the ornament to celebrate it.
Christmas is quickly approaching and I do not have my tree done or my house ready.
But I have the ornament for 2018.
