I have finally written a new tagline on the site. This was the Day 2 task for blogging fundamentals and I think it was a weird exercise for me. I am an SEO. But I don’t write about SEO very often.
I have done interviews, but I don’t write about it. So a Tagline that is SEO keyword free, but somehow has keywords that describe me. (If you want to read what I have said about marketing, there’s a bunch of links on this page.)
But my tagline can’t be about that. My new tagline is “Haikus, Thoughts, Lomography, Games and other projects with a dash of ADD.”
Let’s break this down.
I have been writing a Haiku each day as a way of journaling what happened that day. It has been an interesting exercise for keeping a diary. Last night I actually had a dream that I turned my daily
I couldn’t see if I had drawn anything on the pages, or if there were photos. But it is something to think about.
My blog was most active when it was a photoblog and I did a 365 project. I do not think I have the energy for another 365. I am doing one of those 1sec a day video things and now the daily Haiku. I think a daily photoblog on top of that is just a bit too much.
But I have been thinking about photography a lot lately, and how I want to get back into it. I may share scans of images I have never shared before. I will definitely start posting more. And Lomography is the style that has always held my heart. Holga, Instant, Lomo LCA and pinhole. These are the tools I enjoy the most, and these are the tools I will get back into.
Games & Projects with a dash of ADD.
I am not sure about the weight of this one. I want to make more games, but I am not sure how much I will blog about it while I work. I may pull this out.
Projects will, of course, remain as a small place for me to brag about the things I have done.
And we must never forget the ADD monster that will be coming to get me every chance it can get.
