This week has been chaotic and legendary and has definitely rolled into the weekend on a high note.
I have plans made to celebrate, I am just waiting on one final confirmation email. It is just a formality. But you should never celebrate too soon.
I was reading on the blog unclutter earlier this evening about how chaos can creep in. Specifically that linked blog post is about dealing with chaos as it pertains to sharing a space with a partner.
As I live alone, the agents of chaos are me and my cat. I have made huge strides in reclaiming space in my home that has been abandoned for some time. But there is still a ton of chaos. Particularly my dining room floor which has become the dirty clothes hamper for some strange reason.
There is no one to blame but myself for allowing this to happen while I focus on other endeavors.
I have decided the easiest way to tackle this is to set aside 20 min every day and dedicate it to a single room.
I can use that 20 min to organize what I can in that room. Before moving on to the next task.
That is usually about two game grumps episodes.
I’m curious to see what I can accomplish in those twenty minutes and how it can improve those rooms.
It is going to need to happen. The first part of 2019 will demand that I live frugally and organized.
